As unlikely as a phenomenon as destructive as cataclysmic polar shift is, scientific evidence seem to suggest it could be possible. Physicists are so intrigued by this phenomenon that it is currently at the heart of various scientific researches. Even NASA claims polar shift due in 2012, just in time with the peaking of other catastrophes as predicted by prophecies of ancient times.
Is it possible for cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis to happen?
Cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis, more popularly known as pole shift, is a phenomenon that is best explained by the rapid shifting of the Earth’s cause, eventually leading to the shift in the locations of the Earth’s continents. As funny as this sounds, researchers have recently found evidence to suggest that this phenomenon has indeed happened in the past.
Some 800 million years, the North Pole was not lying in the polar regions. It was near the equator, at the very center of the globe.
Further scientific investigations revealed that less than 800,000 years ago, a pole shift occurred. It was also calculated that polar shifts are spaced 250,000 to 300,000 years apart. If these evidences and calculations are correct, scientists believe that we are in a time period wherein another pole shift will occur.
The actual effects of a pole shift are not yet known. But, experts suggest that a shift in the Earth’s mantle, if it happens dramatically, may reveal the fulfillment of ancient prophecies. Earthquakes, with magnitude unknown to men; volcanoes erupting at perplexing intensities; and possible destruction through the launching of nuclear warheads may all happen simultaneously. Massive quantities of animals on land and in the seas may died. Human death tolls could reach million, perhaps, billions. It would be a complete picture of cataclysm as foretold by the Mayas, Nostradamus, the I Ching, the historical Merlin, the Oracles in Rome and Delphi, and the Holy Bible.
The end of our days, of our age, of our millennium is coming to a close. If we truly are at an age that has been foretold thousands of years ago, we take the warnings seriously. History has a very good record of keeping its predictions and it doesn’t not show signs that it will veer away from its prophecies any time soon.

I don’t believe in this. This world is not going to end by its own. We are going to make the world end by doing lot of monster hearted activities like cutting trees, damaging environment etc.
I also disagree with this – I don’t think that anyone can pinpoint the exact time that the world is supposed to end like this. People just need to relax and live thier lives. There are too many people who believe in this stuff and others want to make money off of them…
I can’t say eitherway whether the end of our days will be in 2012. I do believe however, that it is good to be educated on how it all comes together.
