I like how smooth it is.
Is the Space Navigator compatible with FSX? (this would look great from within the cockpit of a jet)

how do the buildings pop up like that is it a newer version of google earth? if so which one?

I’ve been lobbying for that (Firefox) feature as well. And yes, the Spacenavigator is excellent for moving around in 3D applications (such as Solidworks.)
