Browne pens an engaging novel that takes a look at the end of days and what we can expect through her psychic’s perspective.

The end of days has been a hot topic recently since the end of the Mayan calendar is fastly approaching – 21 Dec 2012. Browne takes a realistic look at the end of days and what we can expect.

The novel starts with Browne examining some ancient beliefs of the end of the world. she talks about what Christianity says, looking at the rapture, as well as other cultures including the Mayans and Aztecs. her studies of the various religions and cultures are interesting and informative. her look at Catholicism and its approach to the end of days is worth reading just for that. her background and insights on Father Pio gives the reader pause to think.

Bowne then dives into what various prophets have said about the end of the world. she looks at prophets who include Edgar Cayce, Helena Blavatsky, HG Wells, Nostradamus, and even Grigori Rasputin. what I enjoyed about this section is that Browne takes a compact look at these people giving just enough background to pique the reader’s interest and sum up their accomplishments.

One of the most unsettling topics Browne addresses is doomsday prophets. she discusses several modern day doomsday cults that have taken religious writing and twisted it to fit their own warped agenda. this topic is very informative in what to look out for regarding these types of people who use the Bible for their own warped purposes.

Lastly, Browne shares what she believes to be the end of days through her psychic vision. her thoughts are not what you’d expect, and she discusses such topics as medical advances, unusual weather, and reincarnation. her thoughts are fascinating, making the reader think about their own mortality and the legacy they will leave behind.

Browne’s writing is crisp, engaging, and with a topic like the end of days, will hold the reader’s attention throughout. Browne’s done her research and it shows. Though psychic, she gives an honest account of past doomsday scenarios and why they haven’t worked. as she accurately points out in Matthew 24:36: “The day and hour no ones knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”

“End of Days” is raw, gritty, and fresh. by taking a look at our past, can we hope to make change for our future. this is a book that will sate the reader’s natural curiosity about the end of days and offers hope. “End of Days” is another enjoyable read from Sylvia Browne.

People who believe the earth will end in 2012?

How many of you believed the earth was going to end in 2000?

If so, what is your explanation?

why have i seen this q a million times

the ONLY way for the earth to "end" in 2012 is if something spritual happens…

since christianity is the only true religion, it teaches us that man shall not know the hour

therefore any1 who believes this is an idiot

the end

The earliest is could possibly end, or shall we say start over again, would be 2015.

there is no such thing as a prophet

Didn't believe it in 2000, don't believe it for 2012.

Here is a site of all the times people have been wrong about the earth ending.
This site is great. There are 100s of times in the past, and many predictions of the world ending that are currently happening. looks like we have dodged all the ones for 2008.
LOL…people are hilarious with this stuff.

I believe that all of that is a load of crap. the world has supposed to ended like 100 times now. if the world does end, it will most likely be by nuclear warfare (which WILL destroy the world. no question to that)

I reckon the world will end in 2012. My explanation is a secret so Im not gonna tell you. but I will say that this global warming hoax is … dumb. Actually I have 3 theories. One is a polar flip. Another is Earth entering the same asteroid field that supposedly wiped out the dinosaurs. Both will happen. 2012 could be the day.

I didnt think the world would end in 2000. Its funny tho how people thort the world would end because the computers putted out. Its as feeble as how teenagers "die" when their cellphones go flat or something like that. of course we werent actually going to die. Bloomin eck.

Doesn't it say no man can predict the end of the world in the bible? the reason people will believe it will end in 2012 is because they are morons.

2000 was about the computer grid for the power source for the entire nation. 2012 is about the cosmos and our place in it. 2000 was a problem that was solvable. 2012 has no cause nor any reason to it. It's stupid, so I don't think about it.

guys sorry to break your hearts but 2012 is going to happen at different times all around the world, and China has a completely different calendar.

Actually, was there something about the world ending in 2000? Wasn't the Y2K thing about computers all rolling over from 1999 to 1000 and screwing up dates and other imortant stuff (and not the end of the world)?

The world is going to end in 2012? Man that would be so awesome.

I wonder what the last movie released would be.. (pictures some stupid movie with Jenifer Aniston as the romantic lead and Johnny Depp as the quirky love interest) … Man, that's gonna suck.

It aint gonna happen at least not in my life time

Aztec Calendar 2012 – Stars in the Sky

I am not saying that anything special is going to happen on this day, and most credible believers of Aztec calendar 2012 don’t either. However, this day has great importance in cross-cultural mythology and if you do anything on that day, you should stand in appreciation of the fact that our Earth and all the stars and planets and matter in our galaxy originated at the center of our galaxy and on that day we are aligned with the source of all the atoms that make up our bodies and the stars. if you are a Creationist, then think of this ‘source’ perhaps as the place where God created our galaxy; remember the symbolism of this alignment exists in Christianity as well, whether its meaning is recognized or not in modern theology.

The Mayans developed the Aztec calendar 2012 in order to predict the stages each civilization will go through, having experienced them first hand as they went from hunter-gatherers to developing a concept of zero before the rest of the world, along with pressurized plumbing, sewers, metropolises and accurate astronomical calculations not repeated until modern day science and computing.

You should do your own research into the details and stay critical of what you see but these are the elements I find most compelling and possible of the Aztec calendar 2012 argument:

The period of change in our civilization according to the Mayan model is about 1996-2018.

Our symbolic alignment with the origin of our planet at the center of the galaxy will occur.

Globalization has seen a boom with the internet, which is a way to communicate instantly across the planet, have access to all information, and has lead to a change in consciousness that comes with seeing the world in a completely different way than humans ever have in our history.

Drastic changes in first-world governments have occurred during this 2012 period so far and will continue into it, not necessarily with a world- ending war but more likely with a new world order which we are already seeing come into place with a global court, and a supranational environmental protection enforcement agency with a possible global carbon tax and a banking system beholden to no single nation yet holding great power over the global economy.

These changes in the way we see the world, the way people interact globally and domestically, the way our governments are changing, the way our wars are changing, the steps being taken toward a world governing body of some kind, etc. could all be included as evidence of a correct prediction that the world we know will end and a new world will come of it as the next stage of our civilization.

According to the Aztec calendar, 2012 might be the end of the world, it is part of a prediction that we will realize in the next decade that our civilization has entered a new stage in its evolution and we as individuals will see the world in a radically different way than our ancestors.

Can I start a faith discussion with a stranger using the 2012-end-of-the-world theory?

What are some good examples to lead the listener interested in Christ?

You could, but you'd come off as an idiot.

How about not bringing it up at all… that will work for me, anyone else agree? lol

Only if you want that stranger to laugh at you.

BTW: There are no good example to lead the listener to become interested in Jesus. Have a nice day.

First mention that doomsday predictions have been failing for thousands of years.

Why would you, the 2012 theory has nothing to do with christianity, it is of Mayan origin.
So have a Mayan discussion about it.

Steve

lol you realize the same people who said the the world will end are also the same people who thought the world was flat…the mayans. seriously if you believe this you are a retard.

We do not know the day, nor the hour when that day will come. 2012 is made up by atheists, to make fun of Christians. we as Christians do not believe that the earth will end in 2012, and I'd rather recommend that you use the earthquakes happening as a start of your discussion, rather than this. Make the idea this…. "those people who died…. may not have been given a chance to repent"

wait do you want to have a discussion with a non-believer?

email me if you want, i like m fair share of a religious debate

How do Christians feel about the New Age end of world predictions for 2012?

The 2012 end of the world predictions are based on the change of cycles in the Mayan Calendar. I thought end of world predictions was an area "owned" by Christianity, and promoted to get people to read the bible and donate to Christian charities.. So I wonder how they feel by others encroaching on their "territory". How would Christians feel if signs of the end of the world coming seemed to precede the 2012 date? are they doing anything about it – denouncing it, offering alternative dates or just ignoring it?

Ho Hum to the end of the world (Christian point of view)
to the rest of your hateful remarks all I can politely say is you should be ashamed of your mother for giving birth to someone as ignorant and hateful as you and you are proud of it.
you claim Christians are just being Christian for the sake of gaining money and you know that is an outright lie. are you asking a question or trying to look for a fight? I will forgive you because you are so pathetic that any other action would be the same as walking in cow pies.
you could try asking polite questions, did you ever use you two brain cells to think of that?

not end of world but end of the age as in Pisces and now we are well into Aquarius since 1675 A.D. and that is now telling on us all since its vibrations are very different to the past age of Pisces into which the church has become stuck so to say. someone should come up with a new form of value for Aquarius which is the water carrier as depicted by the Christ just prior to the last supper event.
Amen and Om Shantih and Sai Ram.

Hello,

1) I prophesize that this year will come and go and on Jan 1, 2013 we'll have to endure the usual litany of excuses as to why our fate with destiny never materialized then once again the time is nigh will be pushed ahead for a later date.

2) Most Christians starting with myself know that despite many signs or events, we have been told by Jesus that neither He while on earth nor anyone else knew when the end will come. only the Father in Heaven. We should be prepared each day becuase if any of us perish from an accident, fatal heart attck let alone get shot by some lunatic in a mall it will be the end of the world for us anyway. The end is not known but comes like a thief in the night at the best of times.

Cheers

Michael Kelly

Christ, the angels in heaven and man do not know the day or the hour. We should not be date setters. as for me I will not give much thought to peoples predictions. I will continue to keep watch and be ready as I was instructed through scripture.

Promote reading the bible and donate to charities???? you really don't know…do you? end of the world predictions are different than end of the world biblical prophecies.

I don't believe in predictions.

On Dec 21th 2012 there will be rioting in the streets when the people realize the world did not end and there are only four shopping days till Christmas.

Truth ?? I am SICK of hearing it…… *sigh*, I am frustrated that people actually think this will be so…. I am frustrated at and about the people who take advantage of others because of it….. go in peace….. God bless

I'm getting pretty tired of them, personally. I don't believe the world is going to end anytime soon.

Christians are just as screwed up as everybody else

No one knows the end time but the Father.
Personally I have no worries about 2012…it's too far off to worry about

There have been lots of doomsday predictions, none of which have come true. We just laugh it off, and say " better luck next time "…lol…

I am selling "Heaven in 2012" sweatshirts.

I'm entertained by it.

Even when the end of the world truly comes, what can we do about it anyway?

load of crap, we wait for the signs in the revelation not the Mayans

How do Christians feel about the New Age end of world predictions for 2012?
