C. Aliens (not likely)

2.the human race starts to evolve.
2012 has been said to be the beginning of a new age in which humanity is supposed to (become enlightened and find forgotten knowledge. (this also has some subcategories but i don't feel like explaining them)

3. end of a full Universal cycle (end of world but not really)
the Mayans were really good with astronomy and they were able to map out the path of the planets for thousands of year after they were wiped out. (we would have more info on their religion if the Europeans hadn't wiped out their culture) the end of the Mayan calender could just be the end of the cycle at witch time all the planets will be in perfect alignment. (not some prophetic occurrence just simple astronomy. well….not so simple considering they were basically savages but still not something to be worked up about.

The 2012 end Days comes from the end date of the Mayan Calender. The prediction goes that because the calender ends at the year 2012 is because the Space Aliens that lived among the Mayans had future knowledge of the end of civilization.

The Space Aliens have craft that can move faster than light so they were able to see earth from a thousand light years out and knew what was going to happen a 1000 years from the time they contacted the Mayans.

I don't know if the world is coming to an end or 2012. but what i definitely know is that if we have to stop the world from coming to an end, we need to save the environment. For instance, one of the major life sustaining resources is water. without water there will be no world. Sadly, the fresh water level across various regions have dropped significantly. People cannot tell the future…. they can only convince others that they can. Why the predictions are never "good news" ?, because nobody would give them the attention they seek.

Many people throughout history have predicted the end of the world…and all of them were wrong so far…. Odds are the Myans are just as wrong as everyone else who made the same prediction.

The Mayan calendar is ending and Nostradamus said it was over so there's a chace. but not any higher a chance than any other day. Aliens? probably but we can't reach them. Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) end of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 end of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.

Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.

The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.

The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.

Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. just be ready to meet God at any time.
