Ive heard that there are many other prophecy's also saying the world will end in December 2012.
I would like to know as much as i can so please help.

2012 is the year in which the Mayan calendar comes to an end, and they predicted a great change, certain tribes of American Indians believed that this year would be a year of 'great purification' and the old world would disappear to herald the emergence of the next, the Chinese divining system I Ching has predicted that the world would end in 2012, and Nostradamus supposedly made references to it; allegedly the Bible and Koran have also referenced the end of the world around this time. It has been said that NASA is predicting changes as well. there are others, not as well documented, who have made dire predictions for the time we are in now.
The Maya didn't predict the end of the world or anything of the sort.
The winter solstice 2012 simple represents the end of the long count, which incidentally will mark the THIRD time since the long count began that it has reset to zero.
You have to remember that to the Maya, indeed to most ancient civilizations, time was not linear like we imagine it today but cyclical, it's not a beginning to and end but rather a continuous cycle which simply starts again at the winter solstice 2012.
The "prophesy" surrounding 2012 is a MODERN attempt to superimpose Christian or other current ideologies over ancient ones that are radically different in actuality. This is a common practice since our modern world view differs that much from that of older cultures that we simply can't understand them without interpreting them through our current thinking.
Problem is, the Mayan DID NOT predict the world to end in 2012.
If anything, they predicted some transformation or some good stuff to happen.
But in reality, their calendar simply ends in 2012 – or begins again. That's it, nothing spooky or interesting at all.

As another answerer has said, in 5D we experience time as a non-linear NOW continuous cycle, rather than the current past, present and future, so time is now speeding up prior to it*s *disappearing* as our consciousness level continues to rise..

the mayans didnt predict the world would end then they predicted that there would be a dramatic change in the way of life. the way the economy is looking the change might be pretty good or pretty bad. merlin also predicted something about the end being near 2012 but merlin is most likely to be the title of many people and not just one man from what i read
There's the story of a Catholic saint who went into a trance on his way to Rome. He named every pope there had been and will be. According to him, we're on our 2nd to last pope.
There's also a calendar in one of the great pyramids of Egypt that ends around 2020 or 2025, I think. I believe there is some confusion about the exact time represented on the calendar, so it's possible it could refer to 2012, as well.
You know, maybe the Mayan guy who made calendars didn't want to make them anymore? Did you ever think of that? So then they needed a reason why they quit making them and made one up, people make up reasons why they quit all the time. Then it was like a chain reaction, people started believing it and "predicting it". Sounds pretty logical no?
The I-Ching also matches up to the Myan calendar.
But both systems do not say it is the end of the world. It is the end of the known world.
Ancient Egyptians also predicted the same thing.
Nostradamus predicted that something will gonna happen like earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, floods n diseases.
Albert Einstein also said many things about this date
Plenty of people predicted the world would end in 2012 after the Mayans had already predicted it would end.

Nostradamus predicted it as well, also Merlin (a tittle of a wise man not the Disney wizard) and a computer program.
The Mayans just got tired of counting up the calander. So they're just like lets end it on 2012. Everyone is making this a bigger deal than it actully is.
