I have spent my Life trying to figure out the truth to Life and the Universe . I have done much reading and taken different pieces of the truth from many religions. Many Religions I have found to be False. Even though things are proven to be false over and over People do continue on “Faith” to believe them. My ideas here are as a Theory of what I have come up with so far. There is No Box where things have to be 100% True and can not be wrong. They are only what you Believe and want them to be. Here I will try to explain what I think the truth is so far and why I believe it to be true ! This is an on going work and there will be many updates and Changes as time goes by and I learn more. Please feel free to ask Questions because that is how we find the Answers. Lets be clear I am not Saying I am God or the Son of God, I am Saying that We as a Human race are all small Pieces of what we think of as God !

Your First Step: The Universe only knows what is in your mind ! If your Brain has negative emotions and thoughts then that is what it brings you . Be careful what your mind thinks about. I am going to start you off by telling you this Life is nothing more than VACATIONISM !!!

The Therory of Vactionism is that every person and every Living thing is Energy . We all come from this Giant energy ball that floats some where in the Middle of the Universe . When we are a part of the Energy Ball we are all Connected, We are individuals yet we are one and the same and we feel only Joy Happiness Peace (No Negative Emotions) and we are never alone !

Every now and again things get a little Boring, We are curious beings that seek new adventures. We leave the Energy Ball and we travel the Universe and look for something to become for a while. For those of us here on Earth We become Humans , Animals Trees and Plants . (I am not Sure maybe other things too like Clouds and stuff like that)

While we are here we have Corporeal bodies that we live in. These Bodies keep us from Truly being a part of each other as we are used to . (Sex being the Closest Thing we experaince to togetherness) These Bodies are the reason for many negative emotions.

As Children We learn that if we touch a hot stove it hurts the body , So we learn pain and because of pain we learn fear and because of fear and Pain we allow ourselves to fear and distrust those things we do not remember we know and understand. Often we spend our Lives, Hiding away not trusting anything in an attempt to protect this body (This Body is Nothing more then a rental car you would get while on Vacation)

We come here to enjoy Different experiences, But We spend most of our time hating and fearing each other. We are all Roses from the Same Bush, Some of us have been placed in Different Colored Vases. Why would a Rose hate its Brother Rose because it has been placed in a Red vase while the other Rose a Blue vase?

This Life is a Vacation and we are here to enjoy it and bring back the Experiences to the Giant Energy Ball and share our Vacation Photos with everyone else that is there. What will you have to show? A Life time of Working 9 to 5 and hiding in fear or will you have some Great Crazy Vacation Photos to Share?

This Life is not reality it is only a Vacation. When a Human dies a few Minutes Later there is an Energy Discharge from the Body , I believe that is who we truly are !

There is a great and Powerful Being that Controls the Universe it is not mean and it does not Judge Us it is a part of Us and Us a part of it. It tries to help us out by sending us what it thinks we need. The Brain and our thoughts work on energy when we think negative Emotions then that is what it sends to us. This Life is Nothing more then a Short vacation and Should be taken with no more Seriousness then that !!!

This was not the prediction of Nostradamus, it is the year that the Mayan calendar ends, which many people take to mean that it is when the world also ends.

I personally don't believe that we know the time or date that the world will end and therefore do not believe that it will necessarily end in 2012.

The significance of the year 2012 is that the Mayan calender ends on December 22, 2012. as the Mayans were incredibly advanced at tracking the heavens (and thus the months) many have decided that since they stopped the calendar in 2012 the end of the world must be coming.

And no matter how many times the name Nostradamus is thrown out their is somebody who says he predicted things that are happening now.

He was just a fortune teller and political activist who had a knack for making vague "predictions" that can be interpreted multiple ways. In reality he was so vague and wrote in prose because had he stated his true political opinions he would have been killed in a heartbeat.

Only God himself knows when and how the world will end. I can not remember the verse in the bible, but is says Jesus will come back like a thief in the night when everybody least expects it. so no one knows when it will happen.

I think you've been reading too much conspiracy theory propaganda? Nostradamus never predicted the end of the world, and in fact most of his "predictions" have been mistranslated, misquoted, and simply fantasized in order to retroactively fit into major modern-day events. and that's besides the fact that all of his "prophecies" are so vague and general that they could fit in to any event that one could apply a little imagination to.

There have been countless predictions about when the world is going to end and none of them have proven true yet. The main difference is, human beings now have the power to destroy the world themselves. The way things are going, 2012 does not seem too absurd, someone just has to screw up enough to make it happen. I suppose that eventually, someone's prediction will be right but nobody is going to be around to say I told you so!

After you get older, and 2012 passes on by, you'll find people telling you that he predicted 2020 or some other number. I've seen the story change several times now, from 92, 96, 98, 2000, 2004, etc.

If you are particularly interested in Nostradamus find some of his original writings. I once read a book that had his original text, followed by a direct translation, and then the modern interpretation of the direct translation. although this book was written to support the idea that he predicted our future, the difference between the direct translation and the interpretation was striking. In other words, people take great liberties when translating and interpreting his work. Don't believe for a minute that he predicted anything at all that has come true. He hasn't. from WW2 to 9/11, from assassinations and economic depressions, his actual words did not predict these events at all.

The Mayan calendar does start over in the year 2012. many people see this as the end of the world as their calendar "ends" in that year. but this is due to people not understanding that the Mayan calendar is circular. Just as Saturday is the end of the week on our calendar, this is not the end of the world but instead is followed by Sunday — the start of a new week. The Mayan calendar works the same way, the years on their calendar will start over again in 2012.

They have certain periods of time on their calenders (Like we have decades and centuries), that end and begin again, I think it's every 5250 years or so. 2012 is their 5250'th year, and a new calender starts.

The best way I found to look at the end of days is to do "matching the common phrases" from Mattehew 24, mark13 to the revelationn..Example Matt24:30/son of man on a cloud=Rev14:14/ one as the son of man on a cloud. Phrases I noticed are Abomonation that makes desolate(also see Daniel11:31?) /Sun and the moon darkened/ Days have been shortened I cor 15:52 we will be changed at the LAST trump

I just watched 2012 and did a lil googlin. Solar flares will reach its highest peak at 2012 could this be bad?

The only thing that will end on December 21, 2012 in the northern hemisphere at 11:11 UTC is autumn.

I don't know about solar flares, but they can cause blackouts as they have in the past. but, seriously, my friend says it as a joke: the Mayans just got tired of making future calendars. "Let's make the world end!" not something I'd worry about.

Solar Cycle 24 has already started, our Magnetic Field and Atmosphere protect us from the Sun's Solar Flares, some Sun like stars produce solar flares that can exterminate planetary life (much like the film Knowing portrays) but the Sun in history has never produced such big flares, we are well protected even if this claim is true, we have more things to worry about other then this pseudoscience, such as Global Warming, or the loss of biological diversity. get grip mate.

I know that the seasons all changing into one and rumours of war were two of the signs, were there any more? If so what?

I am just wondering, is it practical that the would could really end in 2012 or is it just a theory like the Y2K in 2000? People say that you need to go to a shelter underground, but should I do this? Please help; my curiosity has gotten the best of me :p

I believe that the world as we know it will end soon, but not in 2012, unless purely by coincidence. The Bible warns us never to set a date for Christ's return. Jesus himself said even HE doesn't know when He's returning, only His Father in Heaven. So how can an ancient Mayan calendar know?

I frankly can't fathom how 21st-century people can even consider worrying about something so silly.

Oddly enough the 2012 thing is the first major non-xtian "prediction" of the end of the world in my lifetime, usually it has been Jehovah Witnesses and others who are guessing when the world will end. 2012 is based on a Mesoamerican calendar ending date.

This is based on a Mayan long count calendar which ends on the date the equivalent of our calendar date 12/21/12. but the Mayan believed that all it means is the end of one cycle of mankind and the beginning of another cycle of mankind. So, how can it be the end of the world if mankind survives?

Interestingly, this also coincides with the winding down of Age of Pisces and the gearing up for the Age of Aquarius. again it doesn't sound like the end of the world since Aquarius is supposed to be an age of peace and love.

omg i definitely asked this question early. Yesss!! someone thinks like me. not only has my curiosity gotten the best of me, its taking over my mind. but thanks for asking this question again, because i didn't get many responses on mine.

it doesn't even qualify as a hypothesis let alone a theory. but i think you right with the y2k thing, people got in a tizzy over nothing, and the 2012 thing seems reminiscent of that.

Honestly I do not believe the world will end. Here are my reasons:
The Mayans could of possibly just been lazy and they didn't want to finish their magnificent little calender.
The world is not a magical orb to the power of the Mayans who will squish us like a bug in 2012.
Even if the world ends, it won't matter because at least we die knowing that we didn't screw it up ourselves.

Countdown to the End of the World – The Signs of Christ’s Return?

The prediction of divine judgement upon Jerusalem is not only a prophecy of that city but also a countdown of events portending the end of the world. the famous conversation between Christ and His disciples in Matthew 24 was primarily about Jerusalem. After Christ lamented over the disobedience of this city His disciples approached him to show him the beauty of the temple buildings. To their shock and horror, Jesus responded by telling them that the day will come when not one stone shall be left of that city that shall not be thrown down. like the rest of the Jews, the disciples believed that Jerusalem is an eternal, impregnable city. For them to now hear that their beloved city will be razed to ruins should be great cause for concern and must be an indication that the world is coming to an end.

At this prediction, the disciples immediately requested of Jesus to tell them the signs of His coming. this is where He began His countdown to the end of the world. but what does the destruction of Jerusalem has to do with the end of the world? the predicted calamity to befall the Jewish city was fulfilled way back in 70AD, a little less than 2000 years ago. but yet the conversation surrounding this event seems to be a simultaneous countdown of events leading up to the end of the world. In some cases we can hardly differentiate whether Christ is speaking of events relating to Jerusalem’s destruction, or events in connection to the end of the world.

The only way we can resolve this seeming difficulty is to recognize the principle of proleptic prophecy. What is proleptic prophecy? it is a prophecy that has both a limited and a fulsome fulfillment. a good example of a proleptic prophecy is found in the prophecy of Joel. In the book of Acts, the apostle Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, applied Joel’s prophecy to what took place on the Day of Pentecost. but yet we do not see all the things that Joel describes in this prophecy fulfilling at Pentecost. therefore, Pentecost is but a limited fulfillment of Joel 2, with a more detailed fulfillment to come in the last days.

In His countdown to the end of the world Christ is actually suggesting that some of those signs that are associated with the end of the world will also precede the destruction of Jerusalem. For example the setting up of the ‘abomination of desolation’ spoken of by the prophet Daniel is said to have fulfilled just prior the destruction of Jerusalem. but this ‘abomination of desolation’ that was prophesied in Daniel 11 and 12 is clearly said to be an end-time scenario.

Here is a summary countdown of events leading up to the destruction of Jerusalem that will be repeated in connection to the end of the world.

• the proliferation of false prophets and false messiahs.• Factional infighting within the city.• the hearts of men waxed cold.• Signs were seen in the heavens.• the ‘abomination of desolation’ was seen within the precinct of the city. • the people of God who believed the prophecy fled the city. • the glory of God had departed from Jerusalem.• the city was destroyed by fire.

May we who are living on the threshold of the end of the world should take a lesson from the experience of the unbelieving Jews. as we continue the countdown to the end of the world may we be considered worthy to escape the judgement to come at the second Advent.

The recent calamities have caused many to wonder if they are signs of the world’s end. Mother nature has been on a rampage lately. the 2004 tsunami in the Indian ocean was estimated to kill 170 to 275 thousand. Hurricanes destroyed New Orleans and other cities on the gulf coast and there was record number of hurricanes in 2005. Tornadoes and heavy snow storms seem to be getting worse.

Are all of these things signs the world is coming to an end? many think they are. Prophecy buffs point to verses in the Bible that speak of signs of the end of days. it should be pointed out, however, that people have been predicting the end of the world for years. Days are picked that they claim will be the end. none have proved true so far.

The Bible does state the end is coming, and we have been living in what is called the last days since the times of the New Testament. Jesus said that only his Father knows the time he will return to take believers to heaven (MT 24:36). Most of the signs given in this chapter are about the destruction of Jerusalem in a. D. 70. the Christians remembered them and fled to the mountains when they saw the armies coming. as far as we know, none were lost.

In the verse’s following in chapter 24, Jesus says that when he comes it will be like it was in the days of Noah. People will be eating and drinking and getting married. In Noah’s days they didn’t know what was happening until the flood came. they didn’t believe Noah when he warned them, because they had never seen it rain. Up to this time streams came up from the ground to water the earth(GE 2:6). HE WILL COME WHEN HE IS NOT EXPECTED (MT 24:44).

IT WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCED THAT THE LORD IS COMING! first Thessalonians 5:2 and Second Peter 3:10 both plainly state that JESUS WILL COME LIKE a THIEF IN THE NIGHT. a thief does not give signs that he is coming and neither will our Lord!

The recent calamities do not necessarily mean the world’s end is near. We can’t rule it out either. We don’t have any way of knowing when it will be. We have to keep watch as Jesus told us. it is not any thing to worry about if you are living according to Biblical instructions. it is a time to help others to know and obey the gospel so they will be ready.

The Bible wasn’t written to tell the future but to instruct how to live holy lives. We are to live by faith and not by sight. Second Peter 1:20 explains that no prophecy is of any private interpretation. the prophets didn’t understand what they were speaking and neither can we. when New Testament verses point out they are fulfilling something predicated in the old Testament, we know what they mean. This is the only way we can know for sure what they are about. We are told about death, and the judgement, but the times are not given.

Weather comes in cycles. We have mild winters and summers and we have severe ones. Global warming may be true and it may be imagination. Our God has always taken care of this world and he will continue until he is ready to put a stop to it. Global warming will not end the world unless the Creator chooses this method to destroy it. the end will not come one minute sooner than he intends. We can be sure of that! the Lord designed and built it, and is capable of maintaining it.

The closer we get to 2012 the more people are wondering if 2012 is the end of the world. There was even a Hollywood blockbuster movie on the topic in 2009. All kinds of theories abound. which one is the right one? At many different points in history people have looked for the end of the world. in the year 1000 people were sure the world was ending. in 1844 a group called the Adventists concluded that Jesus was coming back based on the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8. some people were sure that the year 2000 would be the end and now people are talking about 2012.

Where do you get your information?

The idea that 2012 is the end of the world comes principally from the Mayans. they developed a calendar based on a cycle of 13 Baktuns. a Baktun contained 144,000 days or 394.25 tropical years. One complete cycle of 13 Baktun’s represents 5,125 years. the current cycle ends on December 21st, 2012 GMT. No one knows for sure what will happen at the end of this cycle. some people speculate that the reason there were no more cycles mentioned by the Mayans was because they believed that time would end at that point. others though point out that this isn’t specifically predicted by the Mayans. this second group believes all that happens is that we will start a new 5,125 year cycle.

Planet X and Jupiter turning into a sun?

There are some really far out ideas out there by some people about 2012. a number of people are looking for a planet X to intersect with earth in December 2012. As this giant planet comes into our solar system, these people speculate, it will cause the gas giant Jupiter to ignite into a sun. the resultant pull of Jupiter and planet X will cause the earth to fling out of its orbit with the sun and be destroyed.

Only one source has proven accurate at predicting the future

While many different writings in history have tried to predict the future. few have succeeded with any accuracy. in fact, the only book that have a proven track record for prophetic predictions is the Bible. No other ancient book has as many fulfilled prophecies as the Bible. No other ancient writings have accurately predicted the course of events thousands of years before they have happened like the Bible. No other ancient book has been preserved and carefully copied over thousands of years like the Bible has.

If I had to choose only one source for predicting what will happen in the future it would be the Bible. Take the life of Jesus. There are somewhere around 500 prophecies on the life of Jesus in the Bible. most of them were given hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus. These 500 prophecies are a mix of Jesus’ first and second coming. Hundreds of them refer to Jesus’ first coming and they were all fulfilled to the letter. some of them in amazing detail.

What does the Bible say about 2012?

The date of 2012 is not mentioned in the Bible. No where does the Bible predict that the earth will be completely destroyed. Jesus himself warned us that no one knows the day or the hour of his coming, not even the angels in heaven! (Matthew 24:36) trying to predict the future is risky business. It can either give people a false sense of security or it can lead people to give up on God altogether when the predicted time comes and goes.

Is the world ending in 2012? I don’t know. most likely not but no one can give a definitive answer. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
