Obama Needs Good Timing on Hope Rollercoaster

Is it too Late for Obama to Turn his Fortunes Around, or too Soon?

“We operate under the assumption that the president will be a negative for us.”

– Aide to a Democratic senator talking to Power Play about the role the president will have on the 2012 election.

Hurricane Irene may yet chase President Obama out of his Martha’s Vineyard retreat. even if the winds don’t force the media-conscious president’s early departure, concern of being away from the seat of government during a natural disaster may do the trick.

Certainly the storm will deny the president the start of his scheduled comeback tour: the dedication of the Martin Luther King monument in Washington. Obama, who often invokes the slain civil rights leader in his own defense, will not be able to stand at King’s feet as he tries to get back on track with an antagonized electorate.

(Former Obama Green jobs czar Van Jones said the storm should be re-named “Hurricane David Duke” for the disruption.)

Many told the president not to take the trip in the first place. With the economy crumbling (and his approval ratings going right along with it), markets in chaos and the allied effort to oust Col. Muammar Qaddafi approaching a perilous end, friends and foes alike called on the president to reschedule his family vacation. Maxine Waters and Mitt Romney agreed: Obama should have been trying to create jobs instead of golfing on the Vineyard.

Then an earthquake hit Washington and Irene started churning toward the coast, and the vacation seemed even more star-crossed.

Obama’s supporters and almost all his fellow Democrats are despairing over the president’s political depression. Liberals fear Obama may have forever lost the chance to be the modern Franklin Roosevelt and remake American society. Moderates worry that Obama will be a huge drag in the 2012 elections. Democrats of every stripe increasingly worry that Obama is headed for Jimmy Carter one-term status.

Given the grab bag of policy re-treads that the administration has leaked out in advance of the president’s long-promised plans on jobs and debt reduction, Democrats are not exactly getting psyched up for a new Obama surge. given the cliffhanger approach to the revelation of the policies – “We have a plan, but we won’t tell you until September” – anything short of the discovery of cold fusion will probably fall flat.

But Democrats ought not despair yet.

When Obama returns to Washington, he faces three immediate battles with Congress. On Sept. 30, the resolution funding the government expires, as does the current federal gasoline tax. Before that, the members of the super committee charged with finding $1.5 trillion in reductions to the next decade of federal spending increases, will be delivering their first body blows to one and other.

This sounds bad enough to make a fellow want to stay on the beach in a hurricane, but this will actually be a political boost to Obama. Republican intransigence and what is sure to be sharper language from the president will help re-galvanize the left and show Obama to be a vital actor. as long as Obama avoids a fiscal apocalypse or a total defeat, he will be adjudged to be at least a partial winner. With the president and a supportive press having painted Republicans as terrorists, the electoral audience is primed.

Plus, Republicans will start closing in on a nominee during a triple-header of debates in September. whether it’s Rick Perry or Mitt Romney, the Republican frontrunner will send disaffected Democrats and left-leaning independents back to the president’s corner.

Also, if the majority of economists are right and we are not approaching another full-blown recession but instead going to keep slogging through the swamps of stagnation, markets may bounce back. An economy that is weakly better is still better than one that’s getting worse.

With Democrats looking more united and moderates feeling more sympathetic, Obama will again be looking like a tough customer to beat.

And there’s the problem. While Obama certainly needs to shake his status as the snakebit son of Carter, he needs to experience his rise at the right time to win a second term.

There’s no chance of the kind of sustained, robust economic growth that would propel Obama into an easy, Reganesque victory. It’s too late for that. Obama will instead have to rely on a combination of attacking Republicans as radical and some sense of optimism about the economy in his bid for another four years. But it may be too early for the green shoots of hope to emerge.

If the independents who delivered the White House to Obama in 2008, the House to Republicans in 2010 and who will decide the 2012 election are disappointed again, it could doom Obama.

If the economy sputters again next summer, as it has in the current and previous summers of recovery, it could have Obama on the downside of his hope rollercoaster at just the wrong moment.

Left Looking for a GDP Number so Bad, It’s Good

“They need an outlook bad enough … that gives them a justification to act.”

– Former Federal Reserve Monetary Affairs Director Vincent Reinhart talking to The Hill about the today’s release of revised GDP numbers ahead of a much anticipated statement by Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke.

Liberal economic columnist Paul Krugman suggests in today’s new York Times that Federal Reserve should be seeking a “substantial” decrease in the value of the dollar and to encourage several years of inflation and uses a 2000 paper by now-Chairman Ben Bernanke to make the case.

Many on Wall Street are hoping that Bernanke will return to his roots today and announce a plan to further devalue the dollar in an effort to create a cash stimulus to the ailing economy.

But while Krugman, like others in his set, suggests that it is fear of Republican reactionaries that is keeping Bernanke from further weakening of the greenback, the greatest limit on his actions seems to be divisions inside his own board.

Anxiety over inflation, or 70s-style stagflation, continues to be real. and with Russia and China itching to knock the U.S. currency off its peg as the world’s reserve currency, any further currency manipulation could cause a cash crash. The reserve status is what allows the Fed to fiddle with the currency in ways that other countries can’t – it is the primary guarantor of the dollar’s value.

That’s why Wall Street speculators and liberal economists are hoping that today’s announcement on revised economic numbers for the second quarter of the year are lousy. just as some hoped that Iraq would get worse faster in 2004 so that George W. Bush would lose the election and the war could be ended for good, now many are hoping that the economic data will be bad enough to give Bernanke a pretext to throw a money bomb.

If the economy looks headed for continued anemic growth/stagnation, it will be hard for Bernanke to convince his colleagues that intentional inflation is the way to go. But if a double-dip recession is unfolding, he might be able to convince them that currency devaluation is the way to go.

This same argument extends to Congress. While Obama Democrats may be more frequently accusing Republicans of intentionally sabotaging growth, there is also a considerable strain of “the worse the better” right now on the Hill. The thinking is that in order to get the economy turned around before the 2012 election season, President Obama needs help in pushing a new stimulus package. given the debt aversion of the current House majority, that may only be possible if real economic panic sets in.

Power Play doesn’t know if Bernanke reads Krugman, but many in the Democratic caucuses in Congress certainly do.

Warren Buffett: Oracle of Obama

“This is a vote of confidence by a savvy investor. We’ve got some work to do. we understand that. He understands that.”

– Bank of America’s chairman, Chad Holliday, taking about a $5 billion deal with Warren Buffett to stabilize the struggling bank.

Why did Warren Buffett – the son of a Goldwater-style Republican Congressman, the hero of many American capitalists and one of the richest men in the world – become an Obama acolyte at age 80?

Certainly most of Buffett’s fellow moneymen are somewhere between outraged and disenchanted with Obama. even as conservative capitalists prepare an assault on Obama for next year and left-leaning corporatists are cutting off their campaign contributions, the Berkshire Hathaway boss is jumping in with both feet.

As Bank of America looked headed for collapse under the management team picked during the period of federal ownership, Buffett rode in Thursday and dropped $5 billion on the struggling company. More importantly, Buffett blessed the bank’s CEO. The bank’s collapse would not only have been embarrassing for the Obama administration after tens of billions of dollars of federal support but also might have touched off a panic on Wall Street.

Buffett is also a host and headline speaker at an Obama fundraiser in new York next month that will be billed as an economic forum. again, the money will help Obama’s struggling re-election bid but it is probably more important to have the influential investor publicly vouching for Obama and his policies for economic intervention.

We don’t know what Buffett and Obama talked about in their conversation early this week, but it would stand to reason that the president would ask for his supporter’s help in calming anxious markets. if Teddy Roosevelt could ask J.P. Morgan…

With so many capitalists lining up against Obama, it helps the president to have America’s most famous investor on his side.

Just as when Obama tapped GE boss Jeff Immelt to lead a jobs panel, questions have arisen about exactly what Buffett gets out of the deal. for government contractor and green-subsidy recipient GE, the answer is fairly easy. for Buffett’s decision to become the president’s preferred capitalist, the angles are more complex.

Is it a sudden late-life interest in Democratic politics? a calculated financial angle to obtain sweet deals like the one he got from BOA? a belief that he and his company can profit more in the Obama era than if the government scales back its economic role?

And now, a Word from Charles

“I think what is interesting about the Perry angle is that he is exposing what was always the fundamental weakness of the Romney campaign.

He doesn’t excite the base and he has this insoluble problem with health care. Up until now no one pushed on that button. Perry is doing it. Romney doesn’t have to come out swinging and attacking. He is not good at that. when he tried it in 2008 against McCain, it doesn’t work well. But he has to find a defense on Romneycare or he will be pummeled by Perry on this incessantly. I think that is his key strategic requirement now.”

Charles Krauthammer on “Special Report with Bret Baier.”

My Troll theory on the 2012 end of the world. What do you think?

The U.S.a. holds the 2012 election. Obama loses. he refuses to step down declaring his work too important to be stopped. This triggers a civil war. Other countries come in on both sides turning it into a world war.

Give me a break. those closest we came to that was Bush floating the idea of postponing the 2004 elections due to the fake rise in the terrorist threat level. Pretty much the same thing you've outlined. Talk about almost becoming Communist– if ever it would have happened, it would have been under Bush. Had that idea gotten any support, Bush would have done it, and would still be here.

i hope you can wait that long,i'm glad you see that he hads four years….fyi……that's the AMERICAN way….4years…..if bush didin do it i'm thinking that kinda far fetch for OBAMA..

Nice Theory, I must say.

My Troll theory on the 2012 end of the world. What do you think?

USA: Default averted

Saturday, 6 August 2011.

After months of vicious manoeuvring between Republican and Democratic factions, the US Congress and president Obama agreed on a budget deal only hours before the deadline to raise the Federal government’s borrowing limitLynn Walsh, International Secretariat of the CWIDept limit, previously $14.3 trillion, the debt limit was raised by $2.4 trillion (in two stages). the deal effectively postpones further discussion of the debt limit until after the 2012 presidential and congressional elections. It provides for $2.5 trillion cuts in federal spending over the next ten years. however, there is no provision for tax increases, when the super-rich in the US enjoy some of the lowest tax rates in the world.the deal appears as a propaganda victory for the right-wing Tea Party grouping within the Republican Party. They effectively blackmailed Obama, the Democrats, and even the old leadership of the Republican Party by threatening to force an unprecedented default on US government borrowing unless their demands were accepted. In the past, raising the borrowing limit was a purely technical decision, the outcome of previous congressional decisions on spending and taxation. however, the Tea Partiers seized on the procedure as a way of imposing fiscal restraints on Obama and the Democrats. In the event, some of the Tea Partyiers were disappointed that there were not $4 trillion of spending cuts. Nevertheless, they successfully excluded any mention of tax increases.the Tea Partiers peddle a homespun philosophy of self-reliant individualism based on nostalgia for the mythical frontier and small-town America. their policies, however, correspond with the agenda of big business, sections of which generously finance Tea Party candidates. They want to slash social spending and cut taxes for big business and the super-rich.Faced with the intransigent blackmailing tactics of the Tea Party, Obama retreated all the way. after the setbacks for Democrats in last year’s mid-term elections, Obama has increasingly presented himself as a ‘fiscally responsible centrist’. last year, he retreated on his earlier promise to end Bush’s tax breaks for the wealthy. to reach the current deal, Obama also dropped any further proposals for tax increases on the wealthy. He has accepted that three-quarters of the cuts will come from social spending. He even dropped proposals to extend unemployment pay. There is no doubt at al that it will be working-class families, and especially the unemployed, minorities and the poor, who will suffer most. Obama claims this was necessary to avoid the danger of a default, which would have had catastrophic effects on the US and global economy. however, he could have used presidential powers under article 14 of the constitution to issue an executive order to raise the debt limit. together with a campaign to mobilise public opinion against draconian cuts in social spending, this could have thwarted the blackmailing tactics of the Tea Party.the deal agreed on 3/4 August provides for around $1 trillion cuts in discretionary spending. Federal discretionary spending is supposed to fall to 5.4% of gross domestic product by 2021. Since 1970, this spending has averaged about 8.7% of GDP.the deal calls for a special congressional committee to come up with a further $1.5 trillion cuts in entitlement spending, that is on Social Security (the US pension system), Medicare and Medicaid. if there is no agreement on these cuts by November, the failure will trigger $1.3 trillion in across-the-board cuts during 2013. this is supposed to ensure that the Democrats will agree (on pain of cuts in social spending) and that the Republicans will agree (to avoid cuts in defence spending). In reality, the conditions are likely to prove unworkable. Any rules that are imposed by Congress today can be undone by Congress tomorrow. For instance, on tax increases, Obama claims that there will be further tax increases. Republicans, on the other hand, claim the agreement rules out further tax increases.the proposed cuts, moreover, are ‘back-loaded’, that is they are scheduled to become deeper at a later date. Two-thirds of the planned savings are proposed for 2017-21, while only a third are scheduled for the next five years.European leaders have commented that these cuts, which amount to around 1% of the US GDP, are not as deep as those being imposed in many European countries (although federal cuts are in addition to severe state and municipal cuts). US politicians are keen to present themselves as ‘fiscally responsible’, but want to postpone the deepest cuts until after the 2012 elections in case they are blamed for the inevitable hardship that will follow. One thing is very clear: there is nothing in the deal to stimulate growth of the US economy, which has been stagnating in recent months. the US federal budget deficit is around 10%, while the national debt is the equivalent of 70% of GDP (nothing like as high as the national debt of Japan or Italy). Even a moderate growth of GDP and moderate taxation of corporations and the wealthy (in line with the average of advanced capitalist countries) could very quickly reduce these debt levels.all the signs, however, are that the US economy, which has not yet regained the output level of 2007 in real terms, is in danger of sliding back towards recession. the threat of a double-dip recession in the US, combined with a new phase in the sovereign debt/banking crisis in Europe, have produced further instability in the world economy, which is clearly at a tipping point. Why is the year 2012 considered to be the end of the world?

My theory is that people started this rumor because on 2012 there will be a presidential election and if Obama is elected on second term then that would be the end of the world.

I think this rumor holds both a political and racist element in it. No physical evidence of the end of the world is yet shown.

Why am I not surprised that you had to play the race card.

The 2012 doomsday rumor comes from the Mayan calendar which does not go past the year 2012. It has nothing to do with the upcoming presidential election. the idea that Obummer running for a second term could be the fulfillment of a non-existent doomsday prophesy is absurd…

…but not as absurd as your off the wall "theory" or your pulling the race card out of nowhere.

Mayan calendar predicts this date. your 2012 election of Pres Obama has no bearings on the date of the Mayan calendar for "the end of the world"! Rest easy aetheist, the Bible states that no mortal man can predict the end of the world and give a specific date when the world ends! Let's have lunch in 2013 when the world is still rotating and King Obama is licking his wounds from the Conservative movement!

People are afraid of a solar maximum. they shouldn't be, because solar maximums happen every 11 years. http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/so…

Check out this source; it's really interesting. It talks in detail about the Maya prediction, analyzes the facts and debunks the myth:
http://skepdic.com/maya.html

"Too bad the Maya couldn't predict their own collapse."

The world isn't going to end in 2012 there is no evidence of that anywhere. There will be some changes at some point but we don't know when no one can predict the end of the world. the world is going to go on for many years to come and only God knows what the time is but you will be able to tell by the season. I will say this the time is getting closer.

This hoax started long before Obama was first elected – it was started by some nutjobs in 2003.

And while the American people think that the world is made up of the US and a few other places, the US is still only 4% of the world's population. Regardless of who is elected, it will not be the end of the world.

the MAYAN calendar ends on 2012…

It is misinterpreted. they calendar doesn't end, it starts over…..

No, more likely the end of the Republican party, but that will be no great loss with the sludge that makes of the former GOP today.

that's really dumb and ignorant to say no matter what your race is. but it was said to end because the mayan calender ends on that day i think

Yahoo Answers will end.

It is written in stone on the Mayan Calendar.

It came from the Aztec calender.Dec 23rd I think.

Why is the year 2012 considered to be the end of the world?

Are you afraid Palin could become President in 2012?

I was just thinking Americans voted for Bush twice and then almost half voted for McCain/Palin in the recent election. A few scary years for the U.S if Obama does not deliver.

I know most people say this will never happen however after seeing Americans voting for Bush a 2nd term this could be a real possibility.

People are saying the world could end in 2012 Obama or Palin could be responsible for the end of the world.

It will not happen, although I'd prefer her to Obama.

No. I'm more afraid of the current administration.
Better an idiot who supports freedom than an intellect who denies it.

I doubt very much she will make it to the nomination… However, with that said, we all know now, how much better we would have been had McCain/Palin won in November.

We all see what a monumental mistake voting emotion rather than with your brain is… and continues to be.

Firstly, although I think McCain and Palin are not the best choice for the US, they would most definitely not end to any huge disasters or the end of the world. in reality, the president doesn't make as much difference as most people believe, due to congress still having the majority of power. I also don't think Palin would ever be chosen as president.

The scary thought is Obama winning reelection.

That would be positively terrifying.

not afraid, i'd vote 4 her

I wouldn't be afraid, actually I would be happy and hopeful if she does.

Obama promised unemployment wouldn't rise above 8% if he won, guess what Obama?? It's at 9.5% and rising.

Oh and his great stimulus?? Yeah, he spent $380k per job created for a total of 150k jobs created, most of which, are government jobs that contribute nothing to sociey except raising taxes on an already poor economy. good job.

Lastly, he keeps apologizing to nations that openly hate America, yet, that hasn't changed their opinion of us, hmmm…go figure.

She would make a LOT better President than Obama.

I'd vote for Palin before I'd ever vote for Obama! she is a true American, a true Christian, and a real person, not just masquerading as one!

Palin's political career came to an end the day she quit yet another job !!
The same people that still support her are the same group of die hards that wouldn't admit Bush was doing great harm with his two wars and tax cuts for America's wealthiest, lining the pockets of the ultra rich,

Bush had an expert PR team and wasn't a flake like Palin. seriously, Palin doesn't have a chance to capture any of the independent votes she needs to win a national election. anyway, I guarantee you that Palin will never become president.

She keeps loosing and dropping off her job. Oh yeah were really worried.

If you want to know why the rest of the world is scared of Americans, consider the fact that after two terms of disastrous rule by a small-minded egomaniac, 46% of America thought the problem was that he wasn’t stupid enough.

Palin’s endlessly baffling evasive incoherence should have disqualified her for a job in the drive thru at Wendy's, let alone placing her one erratic heartbeat away from a the most powerful position in the world.

The press strains to feign respect for her, lionizing her as a “great speaker” when her speeches are mainly a litany of insults to city-dwellers and bogus sexism charges.

A male Palin would have been burned alive for the Couric interview alone. in the end, Palin 2012 would have the beneficial effect of splitting her party between her admirers and people who can read.

well the world would end for me because i'd kill myself.

If the world comes to an end in 2012, it could be very well Obama's fault. He's too easy with our enemies. they will end up walking all over us or destroying us. Palin on the other hand could be too strong with our enemies and we could have world war 3. either way I guess it will be the end of the world in 2012. so enjoy your life now. who really knows what tomorrow may bring.

LOL. Palin has turned the tables on the MSM.

She simply said…."Can't beat 'em, join 'em".

She's going to hit the Speech, Talk-show rotation and the MSM is going, inadvertently, turn her into one of the wealthiest women in the US.

Your question seems to validate that it is already having an affect.

Don't be scared, Daddy's here.

I was with you right up to the "end of the world" part :)

No, I am not concerned in the least that Sarah Palin has even a shot at getting the nomination, let alone the presidency.

There is really no chance of that happening. After her latest quiting fiasco in Alaska, there is no way she could make it through a republican primary. they will expose her in a second. All anyone has to do is point out she has no experience and couldn't even get through her first term as governor of the 48th least populated state. she thinks the democratic smear machine was tough.. wait until she has to run against another prominent republican like Mitt Romney…. no… she has very little shot a the presidency any more. Her first step to getting back to a serious presidential bid would be to get back into public office somewhere, and complete a term.

Given the moves she has made recently, one can only conclude that she doesn't want to ever run for president. but is instead ready to use her celebrity for a self-serving money grab. Not that I blame her for that. she will make a better life for herself this way. I wish she would just stop lying about doing it for the good of "the state" or "the country". Just be honest and maybe I would respect her a little more.

Edit:
"almost half voted for McCain/Palin in the recent election"

Now come on… you know that's not really an 'accurate' statement of the facts.

Americans did NOT vote for Bush twice. in 2000, Gore received more of the popular vote. That election was given to Bush by the Supreme Court.

Despite her popularity, I don't think Palin has much appeal except to the right wing of the GOP. Indpendents will never go for somebody who is such a religious nut, especially since we just got rid of one.

The world is not going to end in 2012. That idea comes from religious whack-jobs.

I'm praying she does.

From what is happening with the rapid formation of the one World Govt and ancient predictions that accurately fit exactly what we are seeing I fear we will not have a free country any longer.News has been capped on the subject & now Talk Radio is under legal pressure to keep shut about how bad corruption is & the format of the OWGvt like it or not the seven yr reign of the Devil is upon us, but the good part is Christ will take real Christians up & out of harms way just prior to it.Do not receive their chip, see Rev.13 in Scriptures

I think the DC fat cats have built up a massive hate campaign against Palin as they are afraid of her. What are they truly afraid about? Her stand on abortion? no, she has already stated that if she were elected she would never move to change the way things are. is it that she is a woman? is it her family?
No. What they are truly afraid of are things like selling off the private plane that belonged to the former governor of Alaska and balancing the budget as well a major league cuts of all the frills and spending.
The perks and really cool trips that members of the house and senate take on our tab would be things of the past. the fancy dinners, cocktail parties and things they all love and hold dearly would be gone.
They are in great fear of her.
She is a practical no nonsense person who fired the housekeeper and cook at the governors mansion as she said her family could take care of themselves and she proved it. All the frills that were park of that job before were gone. so, do you think the DC fat cats want Sarah? no way, they are scared to death that she will actually be the hope and change that we the people truly need.
Do not believe the hate mongering.
And, by the way, isn't it particularly childish to bring up Bush again and again, it so 8 years ago. A dead issue. the American public voted for someone that people thought was doing a decent job at the time. Anything Bush did that was good was hidden and ripped to shreds by the liberal media.
Please stop being a sheep and believing everything they tell you and think for yourself. Watch more than one news channel and truly listen to both sides of each issue. Grow up people.

dont believe shes interested in the job anymore

SHE WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE BUFFOON WE HAVE NOW.

To say that Palin who is stepping down from the office of Alaska governor by the end of the month, could somehow become responsible for the end of the word 2.5 years from now, is to invite questions as to your credibility.

Obama is the President and has quadrupled the national debt in 5 months and more that was racked up by Bush in 8 years. IF the leader of one country could bring about the end of the world in 2.5 years, he would be more the candidate and not Palin who is fighting for SMALLER government and a more conservative approach versus a radical nose-dive into Socialism and an immoral sell-off of our children's future into a world of debt that is headed for collapse.

Your question is so political, however, you will get responders for and against. I sense you are wanting to express an opinion rather than ask a serious question. but to answer how you posed it — NO — I am not afraid that Palin could become President in 2012. Please educate yourself more on the rise and decline of nations and compare what she has been doing in her state with what Obama did in his former state and is now doing to the whole of the U.S. Like many who are waking up to this incredible river of debt and bailout mania that Obama has sponsored, it is my HOPE that Palin or someone with her stance on government (it needs to be smaller / not bigger at our expense) will take the reins from Obama who is completely ruining this country and driving it straight into the ground.

Yes I'm with you. wqe need LIBERAL leadership for the rest of eternity. i'm enjoying this double digit employment! I like the fact that my paychecks are HALF of what they were a year ago. Hope and change!!!

She has no chance. the US got to know Palin during the 2008 campaign and have already given her the signal of their disapproval. she appeals to a small percentage of the far right wing and that is no where near enough to be a legitimate contender for the POTUS for 2012. also her latest actions further hurt her not only in the eyes of the majority of US people but also it hurt her politically within the GOP.

Based only on Palin accomplishment and track record in her home state of Alaska … I would say she sounds ten times more competent than Obama and Bush united. she has more hands on experience than the Jr. senator from Illinois (who never read any bill before voting) and would spare us the hypocritical political jargon we are being fed on a daily basis by these glorified lawyer turned politicians.
I d rather crap be called crap than a "healthy BM" … to be politically correct of course!
I would trust Palin when she'd say "I promise you" rather than Obama saying "I promise you" … in fact Palin WOULD say that … Obama ? Never so plainly. he would always find a way to make it sound like a promise without ever being a promise.

I think that Sarah Palin has fairly effectively ruined her political career.

Are you afraid Palin could become President in 2012?

December 21, 2012 – The End of the World

DECEMBER 20 2012, The end Of The World. this is a topic that is heard about by many people every day and worries people about the end time. I am a Believer in Christ and I believe that he is coming back one day. I Believe in what the bible says that WE WILL NOT KNOW THE HOUR NOR MINUTE that Christ is coming back. that is exactly what it means.

True the signs are here that the bible speaks of, but the signs have been around for ages and seems to be matching up more an more every day. Think about it for a minute, we have went through the depression in the early 1900′s, slavery throughout time and still going on to date, weather being unpredictable has even been going on throughout time, yet it is just being recognized.

My Grandmother speaks of a time in the mid 1900′s that it snowed in late may early June. how ironic is that? Snow in summer, unheard of but it happened.

One world government is something else that the Bible speaks of in the end Time. Some people believe that Mr. Obama is trying to be a one world Leader but I believe as an American that he does not have the intelligence or the Power to pull that off. I believe that WE as Americans WE WILL NOT let that happen. DECEMBER 20, 2012 is the date the Mayans predict The end Of The World. is it possible? Yes. Will it happen? No one knows except God. why do we as people try to figure out God and put a time line in place when God says we WILL NOT KNOW. do people not understand that that is being hypocritical? We can Not follow the teachings and only believe parts of the Bible without believing the whole Bible.

Bottom line is this God has a plan for us all. We are created in the image of him and he gives us free will to act and believe as we want. if the end Of The World happened today would you be prepared? do You Believe it would be a good thing or a bad thing? As a believer in Christ, I believe it would be a good thing. I look forward to the day that I get to meet our Heavenly Father and I live everyday as if it was my last for I don’t know when The end Of The World will happen.

In ending I will say this as words of wisdom. Live life and enjoy the time you have here now. Treat everyone as you would want to be treated and don’t worry about what tomorrow brings. Stay happy and Smile, You’re Alive.
