Why do people put Nostradamus is the 2012 end of day scenarios?

When his 'predictions' if you will go to 3079?

i tihink loveface has been reading some bill cooper, though i totally agree. i also find it interesting, Nostradamus aside, i dont put too much into these interpretations of his "predictions" that seem to say really generic things that are easily interpretied by what people want to see them as, i DO put alot into what some scientists have been saying about how we are passing thru a magnetic field and they arent exactly sure how it is going to affect us, as society depends HEAVILY on things that could be affetced by it, and if it ends up being a polar shift, catastrohpy could ensure.

but then again, scientists said alot of things about past events that would be "catastrophic" that never happened, or they said things would be "containable" and werent, so i guess its hard to really say what will happen anyways.

but the fact that scientists and historians are baffled by how much the mayans knew, and how we are still barely finding the info they had is amazing and says alot…. id put WAY more credit in them then Nostradamus.

so really, we cant predict the end of the world, but can we predict the end of the world as we know it? and the death of many? hard to say…

I never got that either but your talking about a group of people that think the aninaki and the new world order are going to enslave the world. their just trying to mount evidence. They don't care about the quality as long as people believe them.

I do find it odd though that the Mayans knew we would pass through the ecliptic of the galaxy on that exact day. it raises a few questions for me.

1. Has civilization actually been around long enough to record past magnetic pole shifts? All they would need is a basic compass made out of natural materials and the ability to write.

2. is it possible that an extraterrestrial race influenced events on Earth and taught people many things?

Although 1 is far more likely 2 is quite possible and can not be discredited. at least not yet.

Edit:

Sorry Lovecat. Don't even know who he is. I just heard a couple theory's and then made a few inferences based on my limited yet ever present knowledge of magnetism and my knowledge of geology.

Breaking News – World to End in 2012!

Much has been written and spoken about the year 2012 and, as that year approaches, much more will be. Modern day prophets have predicted the coming Apocalypse and based their suppositions upon ruminations regarding the end of the Mayan Calendar, cryptic passages from the writings of Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, and an alleged celestial alignment of the galactic and solar planes in that year. Additionally, NASA scientists have indicated that a solar storm will reach Earth in 2012 with potentially devastating impact upon electrical power grids worldwide, and other researchers have theorized that a polar shift could occur at approximately that time. with so many potential catastrophes on the horizon, is it likely that 2012 will be the end?   Throughout documented history, seers, prophets, and ordinary people have concluded that the world was coming to an end in their lifetimes. following the crucifixion of Jesus, his followers believed that his return and establishment of his Kingdom on earth was imminent. and, throughout the intervening centuries, many have perceived signs that led them to predict the coming end.   Some have calculated a specific date or time period for that end. In the U.S., one of the most famous instances of this phenomenon occurred in the 1800′s. In approximately 1823, William Miller, a Baptist preacher and founder of what would become the Seventh Day Adventist Church, studied Biblical prophesy and concluded that Christ’s Second Coming and the end of the world would occur sometime between March 21, 1843 and March 21, 1844. When the year between those dates came and went, his movement, that grew in the years leading up to his predicted end into a national campaign, modified their predictions – ultimately settling upon October 22, 1844 as the final day. that day would come to be known as the Millerites’ “Great Disappointment,” and William Miller would continue to await the world’s end until his death in 1849.   Of course, end times prophecy did not end with William Miller. the approaching new millennium produced the perfect conditions for the revival of prognostication regarding the end of the world. with the 1970 publication of “The Late, Great Planet Earth,” written by Hal Lindsey and Carole Carlson, predicting the world’s end became an industry unto itself. Hal Lindsey has since written numerous other books on the same subject and is a fixture in cable television network produced documentaries about end times. Televangelists preach the world’s end, the coming or present Tribulation, and Christ’s imminent Return – all the while raking in huge contributions from their followers.   Setting aside the fact that the predictions of all end times prognosticators to date have been erroneous and considering that there are some reputable scientists who foresee impending disasters in the not too distant future, might not 2012 be the end? the real answer is that it doesn’t matter. all of us will experience the end of our own worlds at the times of our deaths. If 2012 ends the worlds of everyone at once, there is nothing that anyone will be able to do about it.

Yet, if there is a growing belief that 2012 may indeed be the end, perhaps it may cause many to reevaluate their lives, to consider the things that are most important, to say the things they have always wanted to say, and to become the best expression of the people they have always wanted to be.  perhaps, people around the world collectively will come to an epiphany in the realization that our world is but an infinitesimal part of the universe and that the survival of any of us in intimately interconnected with that of all others.  and, if enough of us are transformed in this way, maybe the Mayans had it right, and 2012 will end the old world and begin the new.

Breaking News – World to End in 2012!

December 2012 Polar Shift And Other Apocalyptic Prophecies

Depending on who you will listen to, 2012, more specifically the winter solstice of 2012 which falls on December 21, could usher in either a series of disasters or the dawn of a new era. Included in the predicted disasters is the highly debatable December 2012 polar shift.

The End Of The World As We Know It Based The Mayan Calendar

December 21, 2012 has always been a special date for the Mayas. The Mayas developed and used a very precise calendar, called the Long Calendar, that spans thousands of years, 5,126 years to be exact. The cycle of the calendar began on Day Zero on August 11, 3114 B.C. which precedes the civilization’s beginnings.

Touted for the accuracy of the Mayan’s Long Calendar, scientists, researchers, prophetic aficionados and astrologers alike ushered a new belief that the world will end when the Long Calendar ends. At the verge of the end of the world, mankind is now forced, more than ever, to face the possibilities of a cataclysmic future that is set to end or begin on December 21, 2012.

But no one really knows what will happen when this date hits. The Mayas have no known record that explains in detail what had happened in the past or what will happen in the future. Strong believers of doomsday events, however, believe that mankind and his civilization will end along with the Long Calendar.

The Predictions Of The Bible Code

It is said explicitly in the Book of Revelations, the final book of the Bible, that no one, Except the Father, knows the time of the Second Coming. This does not stop researchers though from getting clues as to the timing of the end of the world or the second coming of Christ from the Holy Bible.

The author of the book, The Bible Code, Michael Drosnin believes he holds the answer. He was able to decode with the help of mathematics that between the years 2010 and 2012, comets will be pouring down on Earth. This is not a surprising finding, after all, several accounts in the Book of Revelations have mentioned exactly these events.

The End Of The World As Nostradamus Foresaw

Several hundred years after he died, Nostradamus and his predictions are still being cited. Whether it’s the accuracy of his predictions or the coincidence of his prophecies with actual events that caused the revival of interest on his prophecies, that’s still up for debate. What is clear however us that several hundred years after he wrote his prophecies, these are still fuelling much interest.

To the disappointment of numerous fanatics of wend of the world theories, the great seer did not prophecy about the date when the world will end. However, it is argued that these will coincide with the end of the Mayan Long Calendar on December 21, 2012.

Time alone can tell whether the December 2012 polar shift and other apocalyptic events will truly turn the world upside down on December 21, 2012 or not, or whether the year that is being waited with much fear and fascination will be just like any other year.

Will December 21, 2012 usher in a new beginning for mankind or will it end the world as we know it? Find out more about cataclysmic events like December 2012 polar shift and others by checking out my website.

Why Do You Need To Learn More About Planet X Orbit 2012

A lot of theories about 2012 has been already widely spread. The one issue that generated a lot of interest and deep research from the experts is the Planet X. Not surprisingly, varying thoughts and opinions for this subject matter emerged from the experts. But is this Planet existing in the Solar System? Furthermore, is it possible that there is such thing as Planet X orbit 2012? Now, this article will make you understand more about the mysterious orbit.

There are other people who say Planet X is not Nibiru, but a self-proclaimed psychic, Nancy Lieder, believes it is. According to the Sumerian texts, Nibiru is the planet that makes a complete rotation or revolution around the Sun every 3,600 years. If we are to believe in the claim of Lieder, it would have been that the orbit of the Planet X is huge and elliptical.

If that claim is to be taken as authentic, then it is possible too that there would be the so-called Planet X orbit 2012. However, Zacharia Sitchin has other belief on this. His study suggests about the visitation of Nibiru to the Earth after a completed revolution, which takes 3,600 years.

He further claims that great catastrophes that lead to great changes on Earth happen after each visitation. One issue that makes Lieder’s claims untrue is that Sitchin said the last visit occurred in 600AD. If we are going to calculate it correctly according to Sitchin’s theory, the next visit is not until around 3000AD and therefore, not in the coming 2012. This is the reason why Sitchin said, Planet X is not the Planet Nibiru.

But then again, it is always possible that Lieder is still correct and Sitchin is wrong. There have been suggestions from many experts that this Planet X was already found by the NASA. And more from them, the government has been hiding the truth because of chaos it can bring to the people due to the many possible worldwide scary catastrophes expected to occur.

Mass extinction and total destruction are said to be the catastrophes should collision or coming near of the Planet X against the Earth happens. If the theory about the calculation of the Planet X orbit 2012 is correct, then it is possible too that those other 2012 theories are not mere fictions. They could happen, everything from polar shifting to comet explosions.

If the Planet X succeeded in getting its orbit the right alignment with the Sun and the Earth, there will be total destruction. If the Planet X orbit 2012 does not succeed in getting the right alignment, the Earth will be possibly saved though. However, Sun’s polar shifting or the 2012 polar shifting are the other possibilities.

They could bring multiplied amounts of radiation to the Earth and huge catastrophes at the worst scenario. Although we do not hope that these things happen, to prepare for the worst by learning everything about it is a good idea. Materials where you can get more information about Planet X orbit 2012 are available, so why not start checking them now?

There are lots of materials where you can source Planet X orbit 2012 information from. So why not start collecting them, so you will be prepared for the worst that is to come

2012 Doomsday Planet X – When Can We Expect It To Happen

Millennia have gone since the ancient prophets and seers wrote down what they saw into the future, which many believe refer to our age. Many of them have seen the ending of our age and the beginning of a new one. If the ancient prophecies and the 2012 doomsday Planet X hypothesis will soon unfold, mankind is facing a future full of dire prospects.

The Maya which kept at least three accurate calendar has set December 21, 2012 – the final winter solstice of our age – as the end of their 5,126 year cycle. The Book of Changes of the Chinese civilization, widely considered a book of divination, has been decoded to have a pattern that terminates on the same date predicted by the Mayas. The Hopi, known for their precise prophecies of the passing of the Fourth Age – the current age – warns that the end of this age is nearing; only two more signs are needed to be fulfilled.

St. Malachy and his Prophecy of Popes is coming to a close with the institution of Pope Benedict XVI, the second to the last pope of the before Roman Catholic Church the City of Rome becomes fully destroyed. Speaking of the Catholic Church, the Bible too has provided us clues about our future. With a perfect record of fulfilled prophecies, the Holy Bible once again predicts through the Book of Revelations the Second Coming of Jesus Christ which many people say will happen in the not so distant future.

And let us not forget the prophecies of the greatest seer, possibly of all time, whose prophecies withstand 500 years after they were first written down – Nostradamus. Even the present technology provides us clues about our imminent future through a prophetic computer program called the Web-Bot Project.

And with less than credible predictions, the fanatics of the Planet Nibiru theory claims that the end of the world is indeed at hand.

But then again, no prophecy or seer – ancient or current – claimed that the world will cease to exist. All that was ever prophesied is that this current age will end and a new beginning for mankind will be ushered in. Although we first have to go through the birth pains of the transition.

There will be wars and rumors of wars. Stars and other heavenly bodies will be fall down the sky. Total darkness will shroud the Earth and carnage, death and terror will sap pout the life out of every living soul. Signs will also be appearing in the stars, the moon, and the skies. And many lives will be claimed by floods, famines and earthquakes.

These are all indications that the 2012 doomsday Planet X – the end of our age – is, indeed, near. Call it coincidence, but the fact that all these were written at different periods of time, in separated civilizations reveal something striking – the odds are high that we won’t be here for long.

2012 doomsday Planet X is far from entertaining. It foretells the coming destruction of our present age with scenarios that could possibly send mankind to extinction. But hope remains, read about the details of these prophecies on my website.

Polar Reversal NASA – What NASA Thinks About A Pole Reversal

Doomsday prophecies are not a new concept, they have been around since the time before Christ and perhaps even farther back. The wide scale revival of doomsday prophecies have been experienced recently, though. But what do expert organizations and institutions believe about these prophecies, which according to many, will occur anytime soon. More importantly, what is NASA’s take on the alleged polar reversal NASA?

First things first, is it likely for a polar shift to occur?

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, it is not. However, it is possible with our friendly neighborhood star, the Sun.

As for our own planet, this phenomenon still remains questionable. Evidence are yet to be found to truly prove that the polar shift have, indeed, happened and will again happen. Even with our Sun, the flip is only geomagnetic in nature. This means that the magnetic North and South poles exchange positions but their geographical locations remain static. This phenomenon is actually a regular occurrence which happens at the end of each solar cycle – approximately every 11 years. The previous cycle ended in 2001, another is expected to occur in 2012.

Of great interest about this magnetic pole reversal is that this phenomenon happens to our planet as well. Earth’s magnetic field also flips, although at a very irregular interval. The last magnetic polar shift occurred some 780,000 to 790,000 years ago, another is about to happen sometime in the very near future.

Anyone who understands the idea behind the compass is familiar with the magnetic poles in the northern and southern ends of the Earth. Based on the findings of NASA’s Magnetic Field Satellite and various scientific records, the current state of our planet’s magnetic hangs by a thread. It has been this way since more than a century ago in which period the Earth’s magnetic shield has been weakening by as much as 10%. Another study suggests that in the past, Earth had shifted some 6 degrees over a period of one day.

If trends can be used as parameters, scientists believe that we are fast approaching another magnetic pole shift, but not a pole shift in which the North or South Poles will switch locations with other continents on the Earth.

Disruption of catastrophic scale may alter the way life goes on our planet. Migratory animals and birds, both in the seas and on land, may experience disorientation. Our planet, itself, may be stripped off the protective field that shield us from destructive cosmic rays and planetary bodies. And if the Earth’s crust is displaced, we may, as many theorist predict, plunge into the oceans. Entire cities, specifically those cities whose elevations are not sufficient to save them from global tsunamis, may be engulfed by water, leaving no trace of their previous existence. Even our very civilization may hangs by a thread. Our civilization could be likened with the city of Atlantis, engulfed by the seas, and forever lost.

We can expect to have another polar reversal NASA, although not the type that many fanatics and believers and doomsday prophecies believe. When it happens, and many believe it will happen, many strange things may start occurring. What these would be? No one knows for certain.

Polar reversal NASAis so far exclusive to a shift in the magnetic poles of the Earth. Evidence that can prove that a 180-degree flip in Earth’s axis is yet to be found. Find out more information by visiting my website.

A Good Book About 2012 – Characteristics

There have been a lot of books published lately about the events leading up to the 2012 doomsday. In contrast to the number of books available on the subjects a few years back, a book about 2012 is relatively unheard of.

Nowadays, publishers and book authors seem to have hopped in on the bandwagon of doomsday 2012, eventually causing congestion in the supply of books that deals with the subject. Add to it the fact that virtually anyone can publish their own books. With the help of a decent e-book making program and some marketing skills, an e-book book can already circulate and sell out online. Not that this is wrong but this definitely leads to serious misinformation.

What everyone want is untainted information about 2012. A book that is packed with all the needed information to understand 2012. A book that is revealing and at the same time, does not veer away from the truth.

If you really want to know the truth about 2012, what you want to do is to begin studying the works of the real prophets and seers – an ancient prophetic book that is – or with a copy of a credible book.

Find a book that details the Mayan Prophecies and the meaning of these to our age.

No one can exactly knows what the date – December 21, 2012 truly implicates to the Mayans except that it is the end of their long count calendar. Some people believe that not because the long count calendar ends on this date does it mean that the world will end along with it. But then again, there are experts who believe that, indeed, something dire is in store for us when this dreaded date comes.

From what we know, the ending of the long calendar is the last winter solstice of the Sun wherein it would appear like it is rising from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy as seen from the Earth. While planetary and galactic alignments are insignificant to most astronomers, the Mayas apparently put great importance on this very rare galactic phenomenon. To them, this signals the birth of a new age as foretold in their ancient myths.

There are different opinions about the significance of this date. A good book about 2012 should give you a balanced yet comprehensive view about the significance of the Mayan prophecy and long count calendar.

Look for one that explains the relationship between various prophecies concerning 2012.

At the heart of the issue of 2012 is the ending of the long count calendar. Let us not forget however that there are plenty of other sources that pertain to the end of times. Nostradamus, the Hopi tribe, the I Ching of China, Mother Shipton, the real Merlin, the Oracle Sybil of Rome, the Prophecy of the Popes, the Holy Bible, and many other resources talk about our dire future.

The fascinating thing about all these prophecies is that although they were made at different periods, they agree on many things and that although they have all been dismissed as nothing more than the claims of mad men and women, they are being proven true each and every time. Several centuries after they first caught public attention, their prophecies are now being revealed. A book about 2012 should give you sufficient idea about all these prophecies.

A good book about 2012 should not only warn you about what will happen in 2012. It should also outline the roots of the subject and the prophecies. Find out more about this subject, check out my website.

Surviving 2012 & Planet X – What You Should Know About It

Although there are plenty of evidence to suggest that there would be cataclysms in 2012, the prophets and seers of ancient days told us nothing about how exactly these are going to be happen. So how does one go about surviving 2012 & Planet X?

The Mayas, with the aid of the highly precise Long Calendar, predicted that our age – the current age – will meet its end on the last winter solstice of 2012 – on December 21. Nostradamus who, during the Middle Ages, predicted a dire future that many say will befall our age went so far as putting his predictions into drawings – which are found in the Lost Book of Nostradamus – but gave no precise date as to when all this will unfold. The Hopi trib, which is touted for their accurate prophecies, passed down through oral traditions predictions about the coming ending of our age – the fourth age. St. Malachy’s Prophecy of the Popes which accurately predicted the succession of future popes of the Roman Catholic Church is now coming to a close with the forthcoming ending of Pope Benedict XVI’s term, the second to the last pope before Petrus Romanus.

And let us not forget the prophecies written in the Holy Bible about the Second Coming of Christ, which provides details about the warning signs of His coming but does not give the exact hour or day.

All the prophecies, predictions and warnings provide us everything we need to know about our imminent future but not exactly the exact recommendations we need to ensure our survival. Thus it is up to our best judgment.

Common sense tells us to store as much provision as we can, to make our preparations as best as they can be made, and to run to the safest locations we can find. But who can run away when the whole world is flipping on its axis? When a massive planetary body – perhaps Planet X as ZetaTalk’ and Sitchin’s believers suggest – come hurling down to Earth at a speed that can send mankind to his extinction? Who can hide from the solar flares that can vaporize anything at their course? And who can survive earthquakes, the eruption of volcanoes, and a nuclear winter that threaten to erupt when the Earth becomes chaotic?

Perhaps, no one can live to tell all this.

Its back to survival at its worst, some people suggest. The primitive human nature will kick in and man will have to face is worst enemies – his fellow man. Even if you survive, you will face the horrors of surviving yet another day with people who will do anything to live.

But, the prophecies of long ago give us hope. What they tell us is that these will signal the end of the world as we know it, the end of our age, of our millennia.

Surviving 2012 & Planet X may prove very difficult for anyone who will survive the initial cataclysm, although not possible. But of much heavier concern is the survival of mankind as the cataclysms happens. Flee to the mountains, commands the Bible. Perhaps, it is to our best interest to pay attention.

Surviving 2012 & Planet X, many people say, is not as important as enjoying the life we are living now. Is there truth in this claim? Find out in my website.

Book On 2012 – Books That You Should Look Into

Some say we are currently at the time which has been foretold and waited for many centuries. A time wherein all predictions about the end of times, the apocalypse, the end of age – whatever you choose to call it – will soon converge. If this claim is true, he have no way of validating it than with a good, truthful book on 2012.

There have been plenty of 2012 books written and plenty more are expected to be written and published as 2012 approaches. But the best books so far about this subject are those that have been around for ages.

The Holy Bible.

The Bible has an unblemished record of fulfilled predictions and prophecies. The Old and the New Testament both provide prophecies that have been fulfilled before and others that are yet to be revealed.

The Old Testament, for example, predicted the coming of the Messiah. All these have been revealed as true when Jesus Christ was born. The Bible also prophesies about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, complete with descriptions about the events leading up to His Second Coming and the establishment of the New Jerusalem. To the believers, the prophecies that have been written down are being fulfilled one by one and many more will be revealed in the not so distant future.

Although the Holy Bible does not set a specific date for the Second Coming – for the day and the hour is not known – it says that we should watch for the sign of the fig tree (Israel). When its leaves start to come out, we should understand that the end is near.

Pope Leo XIII’s Prediction and the Prophecy of the Popes According to St. Malachy.

Known for its accuracy, the Prophecy of the Popes is a text attributed to the St. Malachy. It describes the last 122 popes that will rule the Roman Catholic Church – beginning from the pontificate of Pope Celestine II whose papacy began in 1143 and ending with the papacy of Petrus Romanus or Peter the Roman, the final pope of the Church.

If the prophecies of St. Malachy were right, the current pope, Pope Benedict XVI is the second to the last before the Roman Catholic Church ends.

Pope Leo XIII, too had his predictions pertaining to our age. Pope Leo XIII, too had a vision about the apostasy within the Catholic Church which will happen 500 years after his vision occurred.

On a less religious note, the succeeding books reveal something more dismal about the end of times.

Nostradamus and the Nostradamus Vatinicia Code.

Nostradamus was made famous or infamous by his dire predictions, which many believe have started to unfold ages and ages ago and will end in the not so distant future. In 1994, a book entitled Nostradamus Vatinicia Code was found to contain prophetic images about the coming end of times. These depict the events leading up to the eventual demise of our age.

The Prophecies of Mother Shipton, the Prophecies Of Merlin Or the Prophetiae Merlini, the Sibylline Prophecies, the Hopi Prophecies, the Hopi Prophecies and the Maya Long Count Calendar.

Much has been said about these prophecies and predictions and books have been written about them for centuries. Look up a book on 2012 that covers any of these startling prophecies.

The 2012 phenomenon may mean nothing to you, but to the ancient civilizations and seers, it is a subject worth talking about. Find out more about what the ancient civilizations and people know about our future. Read a good book on 2012.
