not time machine….Aztec calendar happens to end on December 21st 2012 after thousands of years.. Also, Nostradamus and a few other psychics all predicted the end of the world on that day. Lets all pray that this does not happen.

That is a very interesting question. I've been doing some "internet searches" on 2012 to find out what all the hoopla is about & saw a story about it last night on ABC's Nightline. From what I gather, the Mayans were evil ppl who were destroyed (they're no longer around r they?). Nightline also gave reports about the earth coming to the center of the galaxy around the 2012 time period.

The Mayan calendar ENDS in 2012.  there is a theory going around that because of Mayan religious beliefs (The universe has been created and destroyed many times) that the end of the calendar signifies thwe end of the current cycle, i.e., the end of the world.  Just a theory. Kind of like the one Christians had in 999A.D.: Jesus would return with the beginning of the new millenium. I could list a bunch of "End of the world" theories based on a variety of religions.
