December 2012 is getting a lot of talk. Mayan Calendars have been referred to over the centuries as an accurate predictor of events on Earth. what happens when that calendar abruptly ends on December 21, 2012?
If you haven’t already heard or read about the prediction for the world ending in 2012, then let me give you a very brief over view. Let’s look at the Mayan Calendar – a calendar that dates back to early 6th century B.C
Throughout the ages various notable persons have relied upon the calendar to predict upcoming events. Predictions such as earthquakes, floods times of famine and unrest were all accounted for in the Mayan calendar. These predictions have all been accurate.
What is of interest and indeed concern, is the Mayan calendar abruptly ends on December 21, 2012. This abrupt ending has been translated by large numbers as the end of the World.
If we have to look at what people are saying en masse about the ending of the Mayan Calendar at that date, we can basically divide the opinions into four categories.
The first opinion pool believes that it will signal the end of the world. they believe that the Mayans have predicted world events so accurately up to that point and therefore there will be a cataclysmic event that will destroy the earth. There have been theories of a meteor that is heading straight for earth and this will be how the world will end.
Second opinion group is that it signals the end to the world as we know it. There will be a new spiritual awakening for man kind. we will embark on a period of eliminating racial divides, world hunger and poverty and become a more forgiving, aware race of one people.
The third group of believers are I guess the nay sayers, who believe that the Calendar had to end somewhere and why not end it on that date, or any other just like it. they do not believe that there is anything significant about the date at all and the world will continue spinning as it has for millions of years.
Then there is the final group who are open to what may happen and what may not happen, but are wanting to become more educated before casting an opinion. they have a preference for what might be the likely scenario, but need some degree of proof before they commit to any individual train of thought.
This is where I fit in, and perhaps you do too. I need to have some good strong evidence before I commit to any one hard and fast opinion about the future of our Earth. I researched lots of great information on the subject and have really broken it down to one individual view point. if you would like to educate yourself a little further on the subject and gather your information before you make an opinion as to whether we are in dire trouble or are about to embark on a new spiritual awakening, then I strongly recommend that you visit my website below. I found some great neutral information as well as some hard core facts that have helped me make up my mind as to what I can expect 2012 to deliver. I urge you to do so also. Knowledge is power, and fore-warned is fore-armed.
