Adrian puts to rest rumors of her pregnancy by informing Ben she is menstrating; Amy believes Ben is avoiding her after the wedding incident. After school Grace visits Ben after she receives her drivers license, wanting to spend time with him, but Ben tells her that he has to go to work. Instead of going, he calls out and visits Adrian. He tells Adrian that he doesn’t believe that she isn’t pregnant, asking her if she had an abortion, but she reassures him by expressing to him that they are and always will be friends. Meanwhile, Ricky advises Ashley to not have a sex life, George gets his infected hair plugs removed and Jack tells Madison that he loves her; Ricky also questions Ben’s motive to tell Amy that he loves her, only to constantly avoid her. Jack’s parents tell him that they are moving to Phoenix, Arizona, and asks him to find a friend to stay with for his senior year. Therefore, he calls Madison and asks her, but her parents both object. Ben visits Amy, and they attempt to rekindle their friendship. Ashley tells Anne that instead of joining the track team, she went on birth-control pills and asks her parents why it would be okay for Amy, but not for herself. As a result of Anne and George not knowing she was on the pill, Amy becomes upset.
